How many of us are left from ASPD?

I was on ASPD for years under the same handle although I was more of a SW kinda guy back then. And before ASPD I hung out on the newsgroup Alt.Sex.Providers.Dallas which is where I assume the acronym came from. Anybody remember newsgroups before the cheap bastard ISPs killed them?

The aspd historians say the name actually came from the alt.sex.prostitutions.discussi ons newsgroup, although Dallas was ground zero. I used to think the "D" was for Dallas.

I was Aspd in 2002. I miss that group of guys and gals, hobbying was different then. Good ole days! Lmao!

You don't need to rely on the memories of those historians. The original Usenet post announcing a.s.p.d is still available.

I had an aspd account back when it went web as opposed to Usenet, but the wife and I took a break from swinging for a few years(~16), and just now starting to stretch our legs again. I also remember the Usenet flame wars with trolls like Tucson guy, and the "no fat chicks" guy. Also scammers trying to say they had come up with a way of setting up legal brothels but wanted you to buy a $1300 up front "membership" to get access to their "clubs".

I also remember some really cool people like Colonel Jim, Leah from Mobile, and of course Sera P.(the Aussie whore).

How ya doin' Papa? I think I joined ASPD in about 2003. I soon started taking photos and Tara Andre was my first photoshoot. I found an old file of provider pictures from when I first joined and was trying to decide who I wanted to see first. Might bring back some old memories for you.

A client referred me to ASPD, begged me to sign up, since it would be safer...so I joined in 2003.

And what a ride,the HH's, late night chat, in depth posts, fights. Good or bad, I miss that place and time.
