Is GBN no longer?

Seems to me most of the complaints are that the GBN limits the amount of Private Messages before one must support the site with a $25 donation per year to continue the privilege. If you don't think it's a benefit to you then move on.

I have been a member on there for years and had PM privileges (both reply and receive) but as of the past 6 months they took my PM privileges away without telling me why and even my posting ads privileges. Am a donor, as well. I haven't had any negative experiences with Publisher, but that doesn't mean other people haven't. I'm not speaking on that. But, to gripe about being denied access to features of the site if you're not willing to pay, what do you expect? It costs money to run websites. Considering what we charge, $25 a year is peanuts. To each her own, but I don't mind paying it. Also, there is a thread on GBN stating reasons why accounts may be modified or frozen. Perhaps people should read that thread for possible explanations to the problems they're having.

But then again I hear publisher is nicer with certain providers especially the ones who kiss his ass and give him discounts which I've heard from numerous providers and hobbist who have heard stuff about him from other providers. So to each there own, maybe later I'll decide to pay the 25 but after his lack of professionalism and maturity im good with eccie and p411

I don't think he lacks maturity or professionalism. I believe he probably is tired of having people ask questions over and over that they could answer themselves by reading the info that has been put out by him explaining everything.
I have never met him or would offer him a discount and I believe he treats me fine.
