That said anything is possible, but the scenario that one party was being calm and reasonable and that the other just started being suspicious and insulting without provocation is a bit outlandish.

The way I see it, provider has her requirements. She gets to stick to them whatever they might be. At the same time every hobbyist has their threshold of comfort. If a girl asks for X, and hobbyist isn't willing, everyone should move on. No point anyone acting like they should be telling the other person what they should be comfortable with.
