I'm sure it was tried via diplomatic channels. Rightly or wrongly the Turks believe the Kurdish militias in Syria are allied with Kurdish terrorists in Turkey. One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. The possible flaw in your argument is if we didn't try hard enough to keep this from happening. I'm all for great relations with and between the Turks and the Kurds, but that may be as difficult as bringing Israelis and Palestinians together. Originally Posted by Tiny
