The congress adopts the sequester to FORCE it to get its shit together and adopt a budget. the president develops a the mechanism to end five years of nation destroying gridlock. Congress (primarily the GOP led house) refuses to end the gridlock, triggering the self imposed Doomsday machine.

The president opposes the disastrous cuts that the Doomsday machine will cause.

Brief article recapping a panel discussion on Bret Baier's show yesterday. Seems like giving each agency transfer authority would be the quickest, easiest way to reduce the supposed pain of the sequester.
