This is too early to predict but this one is probably going up the east coast. Hopefully for Louisiana and Texas.

Most everyone in Miam Beach and South Beach have evacuated.

It's just a narrow swath of land with a bunch of high rise towers and low buildings underneath them - it's surrounded on 3 sides by water and connected to the main land by 4 bridges.



Do you really want to be on there when a hurricane hits it?

I heard on the radio there are a few hold outs who live on the 10th or 12th or 15th floor or higher of some of these towers and they are going to sit through the hurricane from up there.

Are they fucking stupid and crazy?

IRMA is a killer, bigger than Andrew that devastated Miami and South Florida in 1992.

I have a friend in Puerto Rico. She and her husband survived IRMA with just power outages and no damage to their cement and steel built US Coast Guard buildings and barracks but now there is JOSE, another Category 4 hurricane that will skirt Puerto Rico early morning tomorrow, in about 17 hours.
