I did not pick the websites based on any political leanings. They are the first ones I found that gave opinions on the debates. Some of the opinions I would agree with, some not so much. Originally Posted by SpeedRacerXXX

This country elected Trump. That was the response after 8 years of liberal/progressive leadership.

Any candidate that thinks they have a shot cannot cannot cannot, CAN FUCKING NOT, say they want to flip it back in the other direction again.

A realistic contender will need to lean really hard toward the middle and maybe even a bit over to the right.

my friend who lives in CO is a conservative republican who voted for Trump likes this guy based on his terms as Governor. if Hickenlooper wins the nomination i'll be interested in who he'd vote for. odds are it would still be Trump.

Ok lets see how I do. Again, I didn't watch. Tell me how close I get.

Climate Change - The world will end if we don't do something.

Immigration policy - Anything from complete amnesty to abolishing ICE but all the while insisting we will have secure borders.

Trump Bad.

Gun Control - They don't want to take our guns, only the ones they don't like.

Healthcare - Everyone, including illegal immigrants get free health care. Their plan to pay for it will not have bipartisan support EVER.

May I translate; massive taxes and regulations to fight an ambiguous thing called climate change
gun confiscation and regulation of law abiding gun owners
paying off the debt of deadbeats who voluntarily took low interest loans to pay for their college so they could get better jobs
open the borders, shut down ICE, let them vote
punish the cops, believe all the criminals are innocent
what economic recovery?
medicare, free healthcare, free everything
socialism for everyone Originally Posted by the_real_Barleycorn

my views allegedly correspond most with Delaney, as this survey suggested.

I saw him for the first time, last night.. he does sound sensible to me, maybe the survey is on to something. he has zero chance, though.

I thought Booker and Warren did well, mostly due to passion. people made too much of Castro "nailing" Beto, but it underscores the idea that Beto is too "rehearsed", and not nimble when challenged. I think Booker and Warren are the only 2 from last night, who have a prayer at the nomination.. Beto can still make VP, I believe. I thought Brian Williams looked stupid, showing shock that the candidates didn't attack Biden. fuck, Biden wasn't present, and it is way too early to gang up on one guy.. that would be admitting you think Biden is the one real choice. the people last night (half of them) were introducing themselves for the first time.. fuck talking about Biden!
