STD testing for those with SO

It amazes me how many have come on here to be critical of tx because he is with a SO, and still is a Hobbyist. I have no way of knowing what percentage, but I am sure there is a huge percentage of Hobbyists in the World that have SO's. For the many men (and, I am sure, many women) the idea of being sentenced to sex with one person for the rest of your life is honestly not bearable. Which is great for this board and the Hobby. That does not mean that you no longer love your SO in other ways. Just looking for a little different spark. But if you no longer care about passing a STD to your SO, then it is time to leave. Tx cares, so he asked the question, a good question. And it does not matter nor is it our business what his relationship is like with his SO. I am sure if it was all bad he would be gone.IMO
I've been going to the clinic on waller pretty much once a year for as long as I've lived in austin (about 10 years). I like the anonymity of not having to ask my family physician for an std screen. I don't recall having to provide an id, but that may be the case. If you're upper middle class, I doubt you'll be recognized by anyone. I don't mean to come off as rude, but it's basically a free clinic with a $20 copay (so basically free).
Best advice would be to quit fucking around on your SO. If you're incapable of that, make sure you're as safe as you can be. Wear the condoms, do your own visual inspection before anything happens (you can learn a lot from a few minutes between a woman's thighs)... oh and give me your SO's number for when she finds out and wants to get back at you! j/k of course.

How about you get yourself some glasses. I didn't write what you wrote. Anyways I see you took the stupid pill when it comes to being safe and anonymous. Also you realize it's "you're" and not "your" right? Wait I forgot. Stupid pill. Originally Posted by txAustin202

This is typical 2011 Eccie.
Sincere guy comes on here with a legit concern seeking answers which other lurkers will benefit from as well and this is what he gets.
For example I had no clue about the free testing place on Cameron. Every time I get tested it's along with my physical and runs around $100. Thanks for the thread. It was helpful to me anyway.
Don't mind these guys TXAustin. Misery loves company.

I've been procrastinating but I got my butt in gear and called. Surprisingly they take appointments. I thought it was just a walk-in and you have to wait your turn. I did verify that they need ID. She just said something with your name on it. I'll have to ask if it has to be something with my address as well. I'll post my experience since there were a few guys who PM'd me asking for this info.

I wish they invent some electronics, to test for basic STD's, it will solve all the confidential problems...

I bet the churches are holding back the research... or rather not funding it... like they do for stem cell research..

dr's have a lot of money, and I bet some of the hobbyists here are dr's and was wondering if this new EMR (electronic medical record) thing is going to compromise any confidentiality... after all all our blood cells have our DNA, if they just do a DNA marker for ID all confidentiality will be lost... may be the question is for healthcare IT guys, than dr's..

Of all the std threads going on you bump a 10 month old thread to post this on?
