Prejudice is prejudgment, or forming an opinion before becoming aware of the relevant facts of a case. The word is often used to refer to preconceived, usually unfavorable, judgments toward people or a person because of gender, political opinion, social class, age, disability, religion, sexuality, race/ethnicity, language, nationality, or other personal characteristics. In this case, it refers to a positive or negative evaluation of another person based on their perceived group membership. Prejudice can also refer to unfounded belief and may include "any unreasonable attitude that is unusually resistant to rational influence
Taking a generalization or something you do not like or hear from the news and applying it is to everyone in that group. Which happens to be a billion people. Houston has a fairly large asian population and 99% probably share the same abhorrence for dog meat, but do not let that stop you from banning anyone chinese based on prejudice.
there are actually constructive ways to help this cause. there is global outrage over this festival, and there are groups that you can support and donate to like PETA. PETA led protests in the past and got such festivals shut down in prior years in different areas.
There is a petition with over a million signatures to petition shut down the event

There are non-racists things people can do. I'm sure blacklisting Chinese people might make you feel good......which is weird......but find more constructive ways to make a difference that are not racist.
