The interior looks upscale. It also has multiple displays like the Mach-E, and Tesla Model-S and X.
Elon should rethink the single screen design. It's distracting having to look off to the side for MPH and basic info.
Now that there's finally some worthy competition, New EV contenders will step up their game in an attempt to woo current Tesla customers. Tesla has a very loyal customer base and their self driving software is currently the best in the biz.

LYRIQ starts at $60,000 going to < $100,000.

Also liked the Hummer EV but am more impressed with LYRIQ.

Tesla is facing some serious competition.

Battery life is the key issue for evs. That in itself and the value will keep gas burners on the road for quite a while. Seriously, does anyone buying an ev consider how much a battery replacement costs? Resale values of evs factor that in nowadays. I'll keep a gas burner until ....

Yes Keystone got cancelled. So Canada will pipe oil to their west coast and then export it. China wants it. So it won't stay on north america. Opps.

So how long will Texas and Dakota oil be pumping? Note that fracking just empties a well quicker. And there's no more dinosaurs around to die. But we don't have several thou yrs to wait. But on the bright side, we are actually recycling dinosaurs into energy.

A comment on recharging evs, electric use goes up, and btw, there's sales taxes on electric usage. But where's that electric coming from? Coal plant? Not building those anymore, nuke plant? Not building also. Hydro, wind, or solar? Insufficient amounts. Hmm...

And yes there's discussion on gas taxes. But good for the Dims to try to stay away from income taxes. Amusing that anyone, or family, with a kid or two, pays almost nothing in income taxes if under 30K. So ok, lets raise gas taxes, sales taxes, use taxes, fees, etc. Gotta pay for the social programs somehow.

I just think everyone needs to consider going back to horses.
Omg. I forgot methane.

Seriously though, nat gas or hydrogen is prob the way to go for vehicles other than commuter cars. Small cars, yes ev. But much better batteries needed.

We've been spoiled by cheap energy for 120 years+/-. Time to get back to reality.
That tears it.I'm getting rid of my battery operated sawzalls impact drivers circsaws etc and breaking out my handsaw and yankee screwdriver

Shell says its oil production has peaked and will fall every year
Royal Dutch Shell (RDSA) said its oil production and carbon emissions have peaked as it detailed plans to gradually wean itself off fossil fuels. Climate activists said it hadn't gone far enough.
Oil will go the way of Coal and the Horse & Buggy, led by the move to EVs which will be replaced by hydrogen fuel celled vehicles later.

That has since left when the political tide turned. Now that some old half dead nitwit is in the white house the political winds have changed again so Shell is now pandering. If anyone thinks we are going to provide all of our electric power from wind, solar, cold fusion, algae or whatever other wet dream some green kook comes up with they need to do a simple energy balance and be jolted back to reality. Without coal and oil all those large factory farms people cry about will go away and most people will be farming with a wooden hoe and starvation will return as a way of life.
And why are the Dims happy about us RECYCLING dinosaurs???
Doesn't get any greener than recycling....

Have to put in a wind mill to heat my house I guess. Not everyone has access to natural gas, some people still have fuel oil. Burn wood on the weekends but Im sure the liberty loving liberals will make that illegal soon

We all know how that myopic "horsey" vision worked out....LOL!!!

Ford is investing $1 billion in Germany as it goes electric in Europe
New York (CNN Business)Ford is spending $1 billion to modernize a plant in Germany as part of a plan to sell only electric passenger cars in Europe by 2030.
This is 5 years faster than GM.

Wish this could only happen sooner with the latest RIP-OFF Big OIL is concocting to pick our pockets! Our friendly CEO thieves running Big OIL are now claiming gasoline prices will spike shortly, 10-30 cents/gallon due to the 'cold Texas weather'!

WTF!!! About the only ones believing this BS are the poor rubes who think orange-boy won the last POTUS election!!!
