That is what they will be doing with the money. These funds will go to child sex abuse awareness programs, not specifically the victims there.

FYI, the $60 million dollar number was selected as such because it's the average yearly income of the football program.

The NCAA can fine a school. Why can't the NCAA penalize coaches that cheat everywhere they go?

I got you seedman55, and I understand the amount of good that man and his program did. However PSU has been known for JP and his football program a lot more (before these revelations came out) than it was for academics to most of the country. When it became about image of the football program and not about what is right they failed. A university should never be run by that.

Maybe the sting of a stern spanking will last longer, and keep the others in line.
