You're talking about a progressive change getting government out of our lives.
I'm asking how. when government thincks they have a right to be in our lives because they are supporting half of all Americans. How many Americans want the government to test those receiving welfare for illegal use of certain subtances. How is that not above board.? Originally Posted by boardman

I understand the official definition (trick = paying for pussy) but it seems too simple a definition. I guess subconsciously I don 't like being called one as I don't consider myself a trick. For example if I'm hobbying out of surplus and not using bill money or borrowing money to hobby then it shouldn't apply. Whatever happened to "it ain't tricking if you got it." When I decide I don't have it or don't want to spend it then I don't play. I'm not turning tricks to play like a clown. Not sure why but I don't necessarily like the word "John" either maybe it's because I see guys getting busted on TV shows they use the word "John". However, I do think being called a hobbyist or client are pretty cool labels.
I also don't like calling women whores and hookers as I prefer to use escorts and service providers. Maybe it's a stretch and certainly an uphill battle but if we're ever going to push for public acceptance of the profession we need to elevate the vernacular at some point. If we're calling them whores and hookers then it's likely to be harder to fight for legality of the profession due to public perception.
I think a good legal case can eventually be made as there's already a form of legal prostitution going on in some States called sex surrogates.

On the hobby (let alone accept it) if the ones in the hobby can't respect each other or at least refer to each other in a better way.
Great question, and you are right big change sometimes comes in
Millions of tiny steps that people don't even recognize until
