They should have a seperate interview room to have access to the players. You are basically entering the bathroom of 50 players, often after the heat of battle, and yes anything and everything is liable to be said or done.

By the way, I am making fun of the press's insistence on locker rooom reporting, not your assertion they should have a separate interview room. If the press is going to be allowed in a locker room, in my opinion, there should be a ten minute window immediately after the game that they are allowed in. Kick them out for an hour or so to let the players get showered, changed and ready for a formal press conference.
