Because there are plenty of ladies with the qualities I'm looking for to ensure I have a good time, so I can be picky about who I contact to set up an appointment. SO while you are correct that "if I wanted to see her bad enough".. I would, the minimums lowers my desire to see that particular provider so I have actually skipped over providers that post those.
The way I see it, it's not about seeking out ladies who have minimums. I'm pretty sure you seek out ladies with the qualities you're looking for that ensure you're going to have a good time. If she so happened to have a 1.5/2 hour minimum and you wanted to see her bad enough, you're going in.

I have read some comments that my multi hour appointments are more cost effective, which is what I wanted to extol when offering those types of appointments.
