What kind of provider to hobbyist communication do you prefer?

Texts and emails. The texts come to my email account, so both get read with the same frequency.

I still have a Yahoo IM account, too, and am a little surprised I don't get contacted more often that way when I'm online. It's easy and immediate, and I'm usually looking for something when I'm online

I am ok with texts, emails or PMs. I use Google voice so I won't get it unless I'm ready and in a safe place to do so. It's awesome when you get a little note saying hi or just checking in. Keeps the GFE illusion going.

Eccie PMs are best for me,Too~~~~~~~
Text. Whatever the form of communication, I hate it when you have an appointment and you are supposed to confirm or contact and the provider does not answer. I used to wait and try to salvage the appointment-now I tend to just go back home. I find Eccie PMs, etc. much more problematic because I tend to do everything on a cell phone or a tablet, cell phone when in the car. So, maybe a better answer "whatever form provides the most prompt, clear communication."
