Client controlled market: paying what you want

Well I'm aware that the sliding scale donation practice is very common with tantra providers.

I think it's a fantastic idea. You get to work with more of a variety of people from all classes, not just the 'rich' upper class. And the guys who adore you are gonna lean toward the higher range, haha also perhaps to show off because they can.

i once asked on aspd "do you consider hobbying to be a bus ride [pay at the beginning] or taxi ride [pay at the end]?".

I usually pay in advance. I know what the donation is, I put it on the nightstand, TV, etc....whatever. Just gets that part out of the way. Then we're free to enjoy ourselves. Although there are a couple of providers that I've gotten to know and trust, and they have this incredibly pleasant habit of attacking me at the door....then I pay at the end.;
