Luling City Market gets my vote. Great flavor and smoke ring on their brisket. Great ribs. Best sausage you will ever eat (make their own). Only decent smoked chicken I've had at a Bar-B-Q place.

The original is in Luling, Texas and is just called City Market.

I buy their sauce and rub for home smoking. I finish the chicken and ribs with their sauce and use the rub for brisket, chicken and ribs.
Without a doubt, Killen's in Pearland. Get the beef ribs, you'll be glad you did !!
Agree on city market. Also, check Houston bbq co on eldridge near memorial. I also love brooks street bbq (4 locations) and the swinging door way out past Richmond.

Houston in particular and Texas in general has so many great BBQ places. Other places I've lived, not so much. We should be grateful for our BBQ pleasures, among other Texas treats.

I'm partial to Goode Company Barbeque on Kirby off of 59.
What...none of you have mentioned Corkscrew on Budde Rd in Spring. Get there before they sell out for the day.

Yep..Texas rules when it comes to BBQ....especially brisket...and my grill does too..lol!!

{I am living in mid Missouri now where they do their bbq with burnt ends being more popular.....not as good}
