Favorite liquor / beer

Try some Malibu Red on its own, with an ice cube or two and mixed with a glass of iced tea. I only use two or three cubes so the blend with water is just right and doesn't dilute the liquor. My mother put ice in her beer to keep it cold. After all my parents lived in Mexico for 30 years and it wasn't exactly cold there. Originally Posted by DAXX

I love dark beer and Tequila. This is a smooth Tequila that won't break the bank.

My absolute favorite right now would have to be Smith & Cross Rum. At 57% ABV/ 100 Proof it is sometimes affectionately referred to as Jamaican Diesel. I like it in a whiskey/old fashioned glass, about a spoon and a half of turbinado syrup and a bit of lime rind muddled at the bottom of the glass. Fill with ice and stir till the glass almost begins to frost.
Moscato
Roscato
Malibu Coconut Rum n Coke
Three Olives Cherry n Sprite
Wet Pussy shot
Vegas Bomb drop shot
151 Rum, Pineapple juice, OJ, Malibu Coconut Rum
Jack n Coke

I also like a well drawn Black and Tan and the right pub.

Whiskey is limited to Bourbon or Scotch for the most part
The Bourbon in my liquor cabinet is usually Knob Creek.
Johnny Walker Black is also a staple.

I prefer Speyside single malts and blends for their complexity over the heavily peated ones or most of the simple Highlands styles. That's why I mostly drink JWB.
If I'm going to splurge a little I'll go for Glenlivet's Nadurra or a MacAllan.

I like my whiskey with a splash of water and on the rocks. At home I use ice spheres to prevent the whiskey from getting watered down too quickly.

I make my own martini's dry and dirty with Tanqueray and a 1/2 shot of Kettle One just to smooth it out.

For those of you that like Rum, check out Raileans Rum.

It is just south of town in San Leon.

Take a drive down for a $5 tour and sample her entire line of liquor. It's nice to see a local small businesswoman who is making a quality product by herself so close to home. The tour of the small factory is informative and interesting. (For you number guys, ask about how the tax system works on alcohol, you will be amazed at the crap you have to go through and pay to make it.) You can get a bottle or more from them or at some local Specs.

You can also hit up some of the local hot spots for a bite to eat, like Top Water Grill, Noahs Ark or Gilhooley's.
