+ Tyrion
Agreed. I was completely surprised when you get his point of view in book 3 and you're like, "Hey, he's not a dick. This guy is pretty damn cool!"

Daenarys was cool in the beginning and middle, but has been crappy in the recent books. Hopefully she'll improve.
Everyone likes Tyrion, but his recent adventures in
Dance are just kind of weird.
Jon Snow is too Marty Sue for my taste. Although, what happens to him at the end of
Dance makes me happy inside.
Arya is again a very popular character, but she's just too weird and crazy for my taste. She's not noble, she's not kind, she's not particularly intelligent - she's just kind of psychotic and unlikable to me.
Oh yeah Bran. Goddamnit, I hate that kid. Hodor too. Fuck that guy.
Characters I like
- Jaime: As I mentioned before, I like how his character changes quite a bit. Of all the characters in the books, I think he undergoes the most character improvement.
- Ser Barristan the Bold: I like Ser Barristan and while he's a pretty minor side character, I'd be interesting to hear more about him.
- Strong Belwas: Fucking hilarious and awesome.
- Bronn: Also just awesome and an all around badass.
- Varys the Spider: Sure he's a creepster, but he's a damn smart tricky creepster.
I thought Asha (Theon Greyjoy's sister) was cool... then GRRM had to fuck her up in the last book too...
