Fundamental faith in the constitution will probably play out that way too?

That is about as stupid a comment as I've seen here. The Constitution is not a religious document. Strict adherence to the Constitution results in individual freedom and personal responsibility. Exactly the opposite of most religions.

The First Amendment contains two clauses about the Freedom of Religion. The first part is known as the Establishment Clause, and the second as the Free Exercise Clause.
The Establishment Clause prohibits the government from passing laws that will establish an official religion or preferring one religion over another. The courts have interpreted the establishment clause to accomplish the separation of church and state.
The Free Exercise Clause prohibits the government from interfering with a person’s practice of his or her religion. However, religious actions and rituals can be limited by civil and federal laws.
Religious freedom is an absolute right, and includes the right to practice any religion of one’s choice, or no religion at all, and to do this without government control

could be called a religious document, eh?

the joke is that he believed a poisonous snake couldn't kill him ...because of religious beliefs.

what does a car crash & two OD's have to do with that? Originally Posted by JCM800

Why don't you two give it a rest?

The irony is especially palpable here in this SHMB forum, because those who are mocking the dead man's actions are themselves engaging in risky behavior and do risk or have risked being "poisoned" by something every bit as deadly as the bite a poisonous viper at some point in their "worship" at their altar of the pussy. I would rather be at the alter of the pussy than the alter of the dick that you worship at. Thanks for coming out IB gay Hankering.

Actually it only prohibits Congress from passing any law establishing a religion. As a result the individual states by virtue of the 10th Amendment are left with that ability. In fact the President could establish a religion if he so chose but would not have any real meaning since there is no enforcement measure.

Islam, the official Religion of President Obama brought to you by Solyndra........
