The number of times I've bit my tongue, tried to have patience, and texted "No big deal, life happens" makes me smh. I know this is a job for most providers, and most probably view an appointment that doesn't happen like I do having a meeting canceled at work.I agree with you.
Case in point, I had an appointment today with a provider who has posted in this very thread. I had to cancel because by the time she got to the hotel, was registered and ready to call me up, we would have started 30 minutes late. I had already confirmed the appointment, jumped through hoops to make it on time, and I was full on commitments for the rest of the night. She came back with a "Sorry, I have a morning slot available". Hmm no, she's off the list. There is a difference between truly unavoidable situations, and ones that are self caused. Most providers on here act like all of theirs are the unavoidable ones. For the record, traffic in the Galleria along 610 at 4:30 during the week does not classify as unavoidable. It's as sure as death and taxes. Try leaving the house on time or pick an incall that's not at ground zero for Houston traffic Hell.
Bottom line, you want me and many other clients as regulars? Show up and be on time, or you won't even get a chance to wow us with all those others steps. Originally Posted by citizen44

And I understand YMMV, but to click with someone who I can have a coherent conversation with, laugh with, AND fuck the dog shit out of is what draws me back, repeatedly.
