Anthony Fauci's COVID Team Conspired to Evade FOIA Requests.

Why it's almost as if they KNEW they were doing some illegal shit trying to cover up that the US funded the development of the COVID virus that escaped from the Wuhan weapons lab. Plus the fact that all their other advice "closing everything down, 6 ft apart, social isolation etc" were worthless.

As the Democrats are so fond of saying... if you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear.

But the govt. wouldn't lie to us would they?

Hi Adav8s28, I looked at this back when WYID posted about it. There are four studies cited. The CDC, and probably the researchers who did the studies, believed results didn't support use of ivermectin.

That said, two of the four studies would have showed a benefit of using ivermectin except differences were statistically insignificant.

As the the other two, the Brazilian COVID-OUT study did show an increase in COVID emergency room visits + hospitalizations + deaths in the ivermectin arm. But there was a smaller % of people treated with ivermectin who either went to the hospital or died. Similarly, the Malaysian study showed a smaller number of patients in the ivermectin group going on mechanical ventilation (1.7% versus 4%), being admitted in an ICU (2.4% versus 3.2%), and dying (1.2% versus 4%).

In other words, for COVID-OUT and Malaysian studies, more people on invermectin ended up going to the emergency room or progressing to severe disease, but there were fewer really bad outcomes (e.g. hospitalization, mechanical ventilation, death) in the invermectin arm.

There are studies that would indicate ivermectin as a prophylaxis is effective. See for example,

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9525042/

Anyway, given that we've got Paxlovid now and given that I don't want to be on an anti-parasitic medicine full time to reduce my chances of getting COVID, I'm not going to take the stuff. But before there was Paxlovid, or if you were, say, a hospital worker around COVID patients in 2021, maybe ivermectin made sense. Originally Posted by Tiny

2. Post #41 has the 4 studies that you described.

3. The authors of the link explain in the last paragraph of the link why they felt Ivemectin was not effective for SARS_CoV2.

3a. They felt the test were not designed to show if Ivermectin prevents death from SARS_CoV2 infection.

3b. Most the patients in the test had mild SARS_CoV2 infection and were not expected to die. Thus it would be hard to make a determination if Ivermectin prevents death from SARS_CoV2 infection.

4. The M-RNA vaccines and the J&J one were rolled out starting in Feb 2021. So if you were doctor, nurse or hospital employee that spent a lot time around sick CoVid patients you could get the M-RNA vaccine. First responders and Hospital employees were the first to get it. In spring of 2020 you might want to look into Ivermectin since there was not anything else available. When Trump got the Regeneron Antibodies it was still experimental and not approved for public use.
