All prostitutes are damned to hell

Often, I don't even think it's that complicated of a reason.

Some pious, and misinformed, people just believe that we're filth and not even human. Heck, I've seen that attitude with a few from this board!

They feel totally justified by sending such trash.

In the book," The Gift of Fear" by Gavin De Becker the author explains the type of person who makes bomb threats. This is a person, De Becker explains; who has a chaotic mind and a perception of no control, for which he seeks to gain control.


By calling in a bomb threat, the caller experiences what he perceives as a form of control. I think this may be applied to these email threats of damnation and eternity spent in hell.


In other words, the jerk responsible for these emails is seeking to control. In his own life, you can bet he senses a complete lack of control and he probably feels belittled or helpless somehow. Psychologically, he seeks to control via a fear based tactic. Very juvenile and easier for him to vilify a woman than to look in the mirror and fix the very broken wimp staring back at him.

The Gift of Fear is one of my favorites!

Yeah. It's a good one. His second book was interesting, too.

Interesting Fancy. I share a similar view. You see how fucked up the world is, all the atrocities going on, it is a plausible arguement. That means reincarnation is not a gift but a punishment condemning you back to earth (hell).

Long ago in a small village lived a priest whose church was on the opposite corner from that of a prostitute.
The priest watched attentively the comings and goings of her clients and placed a stone on a pile for every visitor he saw leaving her door.
The prostitute every evening prayed for God to show her another way to make a living if possible so she could feed her children and support herself.
Eventually the priest and the prostitute both died in the same week. The priests life as a pious man was celebrated with a great funeral while the prostitutes body was thrown out on the rubbish heap for the dogs.
The priest awoke in the afterlife to find himself being escorted to hell while the prostitue passed through the pearly gates to paradise.
Outraged , the priest demanded an explanation and was told, " all of her life her thoughts were focused on the divine while during your life your thoughts were on judging her."
