Serious question for the ladies ...

And now the line is crossed.

I don't think there's anything wrong with caring about a provider that you know well and see quite a bit of... but jealousy is not caring, it's insecurity. I suspect you're about to be roasted by the Jr. High gang, but in all honesty, being a good customer means compartmentalizing too. I suspect that the same is true for the ladies. This is a sign of attachment.

I came into escorting for meeting different gentlemen, having social connection, sex, and a job (all of the things we need in life) but with out the attachment part if it.

Being good friends and regularly seeing each other?
I think that's great.
But we need to go on about our lives too.

I have met a few friends here and we will talk or text about life or things we are doing or ask how I'v been, that i'm close with
but at the end they are playing me to leave and when they leave
with a big smile, then on to the next one .. no time to be worried about who they are seeing .. I know they be back when I'm in town ..
I always wonder what goes through a provider's head when they receive a reference request about me from another provider. I understand it is part of the game, but it still is awkward.

Not necessarily for the business side of things, more like their thoughts of the provider I'm trying to see. For instance, what does the reference think if she is an older MILF and the provider I'm trying to see is in their early 20s or the reference is a BBW and the intended provider is a spinner. I'm probably just overthinking things.

Or, since the reference has met me before and has a some sense of who I am, do they ever think the provider I'm trying to see wouldn't be a good match for me based on their knowledge of that provider. I've yet to hear from a provider saying something along the lines of don't see that girl for reason x. But I do wonder if that ever does happen or at least consider reaching out.

OneStar, yes, you are overthinking everything. When providers get a reference check most just say either yes or no on if you're a decent. They could care less who you're going after next. Also, most times they'll go thru your reviews and contact a few od those providers about you and you'll never know.

Fortunately her conversation with the reference provider convinced her we'd be a good match and I'd walk away happy.

I was pleasantly surprised when she told me all this because TCB quite often it is the opposite.

Now, if there was any jealousy it was professional jealousy. My local provider and I get along quite well and we've overnighted several times. But she knows it would be worse for her business to try and keep me on a leash by giving me a bad reference.

Way back when I first started hobbying I did have some jealousy though. I wrote a thread on it a while back but she was just the right provider at just the right time for me emotionally. Anyway, I'd always walk out of sessions on cloud 9, only to have those 'pangs' later when seeing her other reviews.

Knowing that my head wasn't properly in the game I stopped hobbying for awhile and she retired. Any other choice would have lead to drama and hurt feelings. Don't confuse IOP with love, but if you do once you start you need to walk away and reset.

I think greg abbot's putting something in our water these days, making johns grow breasts and feelings. ok, sometimes just feelings. although these days I can sense some jiggle at the top when jogging...

I will never understand the jealousy from either party. I have clients I still see that have known me for 16 years. Most have known me for 8+ years and there has just not been any of that.

I do like to think I am building friendships and for as long as I have known most I consider them friends. There are some that don't care to be a friend and that's ok too. My job comes first and the friendship comes 2nd. You can care about someone without being jealous.
