I love Star Trek memes.

At least the Blackhawks won all 3 of there cups controversy free. Cup number 3 a lot of real hockey fans would say for Pittsburgh involved a screw job by the NHL to help solidify sid's legacy. Originally Posted by obnoxiousram

As a practical matter, the shit that teams get away with to the Pens is far worse than anything the Pens dish out: the Wilson hit last year in the playoffs should've had him gone for the playoffs. By letting him skate, the NHL just allowed that behavior to continue and now he gets 20 games? C'mon. (to be fair, this is because it's idiot Canadians who still hold sway at the league office)

(a "real" hockey fan would've called out sid going all lumberjack on methot's finger as your strongest point, BTW. Since you didn't, I'm assuming you can't even rip a team right).

But guess what? His name is on the Cup x3 as the Captain of the winning squad. Mario has his name on the Cup 5 times. The only redeeming part of the Flyers (Snider) is dead, and it's been 15k days since the Flyers won the cup.

What really has to get the haters? In today's day and age, what the Pens did (back to back) will be regarded as more impressive than the Blackhawks run. What Mario did (sink the owed equity into the bankrupt franchise and watch his investment quadruple+ in value) is more shrewd than anything Ed Snider ever dreamed of and is thought of as such by people who know.

Ed Snider was fired by the Philadelphia Eagles. And then he mortgaged his house and was turned away by every bank in Philadelphia with one guy falling asleep during his presentation. The loan officer at Gerrard Trust was a Harvard hockey alum of the ECAC/ivy league was the only person person in Philadelphia who believed in Ed Snider before the Flyers,PRISM and the spectrum gave Snider the capital he accumulated to create comcast. So who risked more???

Y'all should go get laid lol.

Now back on topic...

They looked sloppy to me tonight.
Aren't they getting ready for like a 2 week road trip or some such nonsense?

I thought Tatts is banned for life? Why put him on “ignore”? But hey. Hockey’s like MLB, long season. The Pens will get things straightened out.

It is only October. Preseason that counts at least.

I hope the pen beat the Maple leafs tonight but they have on top of the game to win

Toronto is off to a hot start right now. But with signing Tavares they are in salary headaches with Marner,Nylander and needing defense.

As long as you enjoyed it don't regret it. Be mad the NHL schedule maker could not schedule it on Saturday night.
