Moderator is a job where anyone who wants the position disqualifies himself by that very desire. Sort of like the guy who wants to take the boys camping is a pedophile. I can't see any benefit to having the job unless one feeds on power, and I fail to see the true source of this power.

how about a larger pool of hidden mods that can serve time like being on grand jury duty. then year off till his time again.
