No, BJesus. It shows that you are a slave to victimhood.

You might try it, also, when it comes to playing the victim. It deters you from improvement.

Okay! I'm calling you out Bjerk. Show us this selfish, greedy, hardline, mean person that you're talking about. If you can't do it then don't show your face around here again.

Let me get you started; she was born in New York City to two Haitian refugees. Her birth made it possible for her parents to get US citizenship. She studied the performing arts at the University of Hartford where she got her degree. She was a flight attendent and became a Mormon convert. She turned her back on her performing career to get married and raise a family. She served on the city council in Saratoga Springs before becoming Mayor. She believes in fiscal responsibiity, accountability, and limited government.

Yeah, she sounds like some kind of hard ass to me. She asks herself about every vote whether she had a place to change people's lives.

It seems to me that you operate as someone who stereotypes. You might be a racist and a bigot.

Doesn't the Bible say "If you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart the Jesus is risen from the dead, you will be saved"? You talk it, but you don't believe it. If you did you wouldn't say the things you do. What did Jesus say would be the distinguishing marks of his followers? I'll tell you since you obviously don't know. The marks are that you "obey my commandments." And what are his commandments? That you love God, and you love others as you love yourself. Right? And your "people" have been persecuted, right? Yes, they have. As have my Irish and Native American ancestors. By many of the same people who persecuted yours. And the persecution continues for my Native American brothers and sisters. But how did Jesus tell his disciples to respond to their persecutors? You don't do that, because your "faith" is phony.

Here's some homework for you. In the last days, when the judge returns to separate the sheep from the goats, what are the characteristics that he looks for to decide who goes away, and who stays with Him? And for extra credit, why aren't you among the favored ones?

Don't pray for me until you know what it means. God ain't listening to you. You'd rather play race games than get real. It's a nice dodge, but it doesn't work.

So play a victim, if you want. But don't wrap it in Jesus. He doesn't buy it either.

If not. Don't be one.

The first step is to not be so self-centered and insecure.

Then change your perspective.

Don't view actions resulting in negatives as being directed at you because of your _____.

(Fill in blank with the word fitting your particular profile upon which you base your "class.")

Then don't view actions resulting in negatives as being about you at all.

Negative things we are called or that happen to us are not about "us" .... it's about them.

You know something Bjerk, I like Mia Love. Not because she is black, Haitian, Mormon, photogenic, or female. Like MLK wanted, I judge Ms Love (and all my other candidates) by their character and not the color of their skin. You have failed miserably to live up to what MLK wanted than you did. Mia Love could be a lesbian and with her stands on the issues I would still support her. My support goes deeper than someone's appearance. Does it make you feel cheap that your support is so easily bought? A pretty face, the right tone of skin color and you're on board.
