I DON'T GET IT?

I get it that Dallas is a big city and that there are more women in the P4P world. What I don't get is, aren't there roughly the equivalent of more men in there as well? Don't the Dallas guys like to fuck? Or do they spend all their free time stuck in traffic? Originally Posted by meldrick

It's hard to count the number of providers in the AMPS, spas, studios, jack shacks, strip clubs with full service, etc... and I suspect, as Carl and others have suggested -- that this is the real difference.

If you just look at P411 providers, you can quickly see why the Houston metro area is so much pricier than DFW. DFW even has separate categories for it's largest suburbs. (I imagine because of demand) Houston just has Houston and Austin just has Austin.

These are the estimated population of the Metro areas for 2009 with the number of escort ads on P411 for the given cities (this includes visiting ads).

Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington, TX MSA
6,447,615
Dallas 968 Escort Ads + Arlington 54 Escort Ads Found + Plano 1 escort ad + Fort Worth 59 Escort Ads + Garland 2 escort ads = grand total of 1084 escort ads

p411 providers per capita = 0.000168124182353

Houston-Sugar Land-Baytown, TX MSA 5,867,489
529 Escort Ads

p411 providers per capita = 0.000090157817083

Austin-Round Rock-San Marcos, TX MSA 1,705,075
451 Escort Ads

p411 providers per capita = 0.000264504493937

Austin has more p411 providers per capita than either city, but it's lack of AMPS and spas and probably a variety of other factors (see other threads) keep the prices high.

Houston has a clear shortage of P411 verified providers, which keeps prices high despite the influence of AMPS and spas.

And well Dallas... it has a high per capita ratio of P411 verified providers as well as a liberal AMP and Spa scene... I also wonder, and I have no idea, but I wonder if Evangelical Christians and other fervent believers are less likely than the general population to hobby. I would think so. And you don't get too much more right wing mega-churchy than DFW... (yeah I know the big spokes people always get caught with their hand in the hooker jar... but the little guys?)

Any economotrecians wanna perform a regression analysis?

Sophia, you know how to get a guy hot and bothered. I am geeked out about population statistics. I can't wait for the results of this census to come back!

I have set a goal within the next few years to visit all 9 of the US cities with over 1Million in population. I have already been to 4. But after this census, there might be a couple more!
