When you factor in ALL approval polls, FiveThirtyEight still has Trump at 42.4% approval rating. Up from 41.2% recently. RealClearPlitics has it at 45.1%.

According to the polls Trump has closed the gap considerably in recent weeks. Good news for lhim.

It's also about polls and how accurate or inaccurate they might be. Some polling companies like Gallup have shown themselves to be very accurate. That is why I cited their most recent approval poll, even though Rasmussen has had Trump's approval rating consistently higher than every other poll.
