Meet n' Greet

Ms Elena - Thanks for getting the ball rolling on this great idea! Thanks to everyone for offering to help. I'll check my schedule for the date - 3 graduations and 2 weddings this month! I'll get my info to Ms Elena if I can make it. Thanks!
Would ya send a car for me? I would offer a caution on offering adult beverages. Liquor authorities can get grumpy if they don't get their cut. If offered as "free" then they have less legal issues (or at least it is that way out east).
Elena,

I know how difficult and time consuming it can be putting together a meeting such as this . . . I see in the thread that Kendra has offered to help out, and you know that you can count on me too for anything you might need . . .

Lakecat, I can't take credit for putting something together that Elena stepped up to do, it seems to me that the thanks / credit for organizing this really should be directed to her. But, yes, you can thank me in advance for attending - LMAO.

See you all soon!

Kisses,

- Jackie

Hey Jackie,

I know we've been scolded for selective reading in the past, so I feel compelled to point out that I didn't thank you in advance for attending, I thanked you for committing to attend. Big difference and I may have to spank you for your error, lol.

You bring up a great point about Elena. Kudos to the ladies who have volunteered to help, but she came up with the idea, offered to do the screening (big job), got the room and I imagine has spent a ton of time with emails and answering all sorts of stupid questions (sorry Elena, I won't ask anymore). As I've said before, I really appreciate her efforts.

Less than 3 weeks to go, let me know if there's anything I can do Elena.
1) Thanks Elena
2) I wish I could go
3) You Omaha (and areas beyond) guys are damn lucky this M 'n' G is happening
4) I wish I could go (and meet Jackie and bump bodies with Elena again)
@Lakecat I didn't say you thanked me in advance for attending, I said you CAN thank me in advance for attending . . . talk about selective reading! LMAO!

hehehehehehehehehe

I'm afforded the luxury of selective comprehension occasionally, I am a gurl ya' know. HA!

@SR Only - look me up anytime.

Kisses,

- Jackie

@Jackie.........SR is a sweetheart. Except he tried to kill me by feeding me cookies with nuts in them. I'm allergic. LOL I absolutely adore that man and can't wait to see him again this summer. He's worth the drive.

Whoever is chipping in on the room, etc......needs to contact me before the end of next week. As much as I wish I could pay for everything, mama needs a new pair of shoes and is paying for her PhD program. lol

OK gents......I need your references by the end of next week. The cut off date for submitting said references is Monday, May 16th.

PLEASEEEEEEE post your drinking preferences so I know what to get. The snacks....well, I've decided to make a few things myself as well as purchasing some.

I'm getting very very excited for this.
