I Love Your Junk!

I love brisket and can't find here. On a trip to Dallas a friend took me to a place called Randy White's. Boy did he deliver! Lots of comfort food too.

I'm going to miss Tex-Mex (chicken enchiladas with sour cream sauce) and a good Chicken Fried steak with mashed potatoes and fried okra...guess I will have to get used to fish-n-chips when I move
Sorry for bumping a really old thread.

I found my new favorite, really bad for you food. Every Tuesday my favorite burger joint sells $2 sliders. Ya know, little hamburgers. My very favorite is called "The Artery Annihilator." This little taste of YUM is a beef burger patty, bacon, cheese served on a Krispy Kreme donut Very very good.

Here's one: I've been in rural Mississippi. There are lots of sole proprietorship home cooked food all-you-can-eat buffets here for well under $10. Some salad, but lots of fried food, veggies soaked in butter, and home-made deserts. Not chain junk, but junk nevertheless. It just tastes great as home cooking.

it's called "soul food" or "southern cooking"

when it is not a buffet, often it is a "meat &3" or one entree and 3 sides all for 6-8 bucks....

enjoy
