No there wasn't a Catch 22, in this Thread. When I first started thinking about things there was, but then everything morphed.
It's more of a "What's good for the goose....".

I like the 3 strike rule.
However, I have given and received more then 3 in the past.
What I find I do is:
nsnc first visit: it is an immediate sign to not take that person seriously and not a priority. Unless at some point they touch base after.
Cancelled first visit: not a big deal 3 ..4 you' re out or just not a priority after a few.
Show up first visit: terrific, priority
Nsnc second visit: not as big of a deal unless it keeps happening, or a good answer later.
I could go on and on..
I think this is good for you to discuss, it teaches clients what your reaction is in going forward with future business.
They can say something like.." hey Autumn, said 3 strikes you're out, or nsnc you're out.." whatever you do in these situations.
I think more then a ThreAD, it is a helpful discussion on gents earning the best business from you by respecting your time and efforts.
It happens on both sides of the fence, and it never hurts to bring it up once in awhile
I find 8 out of 10 it's usually multi hour prebooks that nsnc the most, which can ruin an entire day turning down all serious inquiries while holding the reservation for one unreliable.
