Since he started his war, he's burned through all manners of Soviet stockpiles, shown us how corrupt his system is, how deep his reserves really are and how much of its plain junk or was stripped and sold by his officers.

This has also given China something to chew on regarding their own expansion/reclamation plans.

I'm aware of what a Sarmat can do, assuming it doesn't fail in a silo or on launch. They've been having a lot of problems with that lately. A lot of em. I also remember their other recent game changers that haven't changed the game in Ukraine.

Their hypersonics sound good on paper, but so many of their touted new pieces of hardware have been vaporware or flat disappointments in the field.
