There's an old saying Autumn, i'm sure you've heard it. "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is". And here's another - "If it sounds too ridiculous to be true, it probably isn't." I didn't even have to bother to google it before my initial bit of sarcasm - which could have left me with a bit of egg on my face if your claim was even remotely legitimate.

You didn't believe this nonsense because it was true. And you didn't believe it because it sounded like it might be true. No, you believed it simply because you wanted to.

Might i suggest you re-watch your Newsroom video. And pay better attention to the deeper meaning of what he's actually saying this time.

For what it's worth:

Here's the FOX News "report". You'd think "Judge" Napolitano would know better. Or maybe his being a Judge isn't why he's there.

The 3:00 minute mark:

"We are able to be all these things and do all these things because we were informed.......by great men, men who were revered. First step in solving any problem is recognizing there is one."

If this thread hasn't proven to be the ultimate paragon of irony....

However you choose to spin this, it boils down to one thing. This is an example of yet another law being passed stripping us of our freedom.

Maybe it is your dream to live in Orwell's 1984. I do not share that dream with you.
This has just been passed into law by Obama. Originally Posted by AlbanyBlonde

Either way, i'm sure it doesn't quite have the same "kick" with you, finding out it was actually Nixon who gave it to us. (Did you hear that part, Cowboy?)

Says the girl who watches FOX News and posts patently false information because of it.

For example, now Freedom of Speech is a Felony where Secret Service is present. This has just been passed into law by Obama. Originally Posted by AlbanyBlonde

In case it wasn't already clear on just how ridiculous the claim was.

So this is why the president can show up a ship building yard and tell lies. Secret service is around, so any comment that challenges the president will result in arrest? Best is the pravda press that let's him lie, televises it, and provides no challenge to the presidents statement?
