Yes, there are photographers really putting around the story that expensive photos bring in a lot more money. That's not what I've heard on the grapevine - one of the most well known providers recently got (expensive) new photos and hasn't seen a cent back. Originally Posted by AphroditeAmanda

Ok, again photos don't have to be expensive. like I said before i'll barter them. If that doesn't interest them then i'll still make it worth it.

BUT... I have a close friend here that runs a small agency. She runs ads on BP and did on CL before the clamp down. She handles 4-6 girls at a time. I did some simple photos of all her girls.....nothing fancy and nothing edited just clear clean photos. I gave her a CD of all the photos and when she started running them in her ads her business went up 40% for 3-5 weeks. I told her to change the photos when things slowed down and she had the same response.

Expensive photos don't always mean good photos either. Most of the time i'll do a few hundred shots and get 20 really good shots and another 5-6 drop dead beautiful ones...BD

Let me clarify, by no means did I intend to say web designers do not have the right to charge whatever their little hearts desire, but for a SEMI custom design that I KNOW I can build myself from the ground UP, I'm not willing to pay 500. I know CSS, I know html, I know flash, I know dreamweaves, I know photoshop, I know Indesign. So I wouldn't be paying for your knowledge in particular, but because I was too lazy to do it myself. Honestly, I have to draw the line for my laziness somewhere. AndI draw it at paying for things I can do myself. Trust, if I could do my own car repairs, I would never see a mechanic. Frees up more money for shopping and bills!



Obviously I dont design websites as a profession, but seeing how much you ca make from one maybe I should consider that as a side hustle as well. lol.


As far as photos go... I would NOT mind by any means paying for nice photos if the photographer had the right equipment, meaning a full studio, a good reputation, lighting, a portfolio and knew the importance of angles and posing. I can only do so much taking photos of myself. But if I have to get the location, make sure there is enough light and then gamble on if the "photographer" will show up with a casio from 2001 I definitely won't want to come out of pocket for that.

Your photos are hot as is and you do fine with natural and non photoshopped pics. I hate photoshopped pics becasue the provider doesn't look like that when you see them.

If the menu is right and the pics show what I like....(a nice ass)...then I am good and you will get a call from me..............And you did......lol
