WHY UNEMPLOYMENT IS HIGH

How is maximizing profits "greed"? Why else do people go into business? Granted, it is illegal to hire illegal aliens, and work them cheap, but the government won't enforce the law. It's not greedy, it's good business until someone decides to enforce laws.

I see your point and your right to an extent in my opinion, a goal of business is to turn a profit or there's no point. No one can deny that greed doesn't exist in business whether it's big biz or small biz.

Your right, it is getting tough. Even for the ladies. What I mean by that is the other day I was checking out the backpages in a major city in texas and the ladies their are offering hourly rates for 60-100 roses. I think it is just a very small percentage that doesn't want to work, especially among the 50+ people there are too many people who apply for hundreds of jobs, just to find that age discrimination beets them time after time.
Job fairs where 80 employers show up and 5,000 job seekers, a new department store opening with 150 jobs available and 1200 people show up to apply, it happens every day and everywhere in the country.
