I’ve spent about $68,000 since 2007. Although I met about 45 providers, about $20,000 of the total was spent on three ATF’s(no regrets). Also way too much was spent overpaying at strip clubs (bad, bad dog). Started on this board in April and it has helped me choose wisely going forward (like meeting the OP of this thread back in July).

I don't track it because last time I learned how much money I blew in gambling, I quit gambling...and I love to gamble!! (I was a regular at a casindo for many years and, just out of curiousity, I asked how much in personal checks I've cashed at that particular casino over the previouse year. I shouldn't have asked...)

So, my rough guess is probably $25-35k a year.

I started keeping track in 2008, I've been hobbying off and on since '95.

From 2008 till now it's around 85k...

Whatever it was, it was money well spent. A CD pays 0.4%, my house went under water, my IRA actually lost value. So what the hell!

I've been hobbying since 2004. Very active the first 2 years, then less and less each year thereafter.

After running some rough numbers, my best would be somewhere around 40K.

My tagline used to be :
Hobbying is meant for those with disposable income not disposable furniture but one can lead to another.
Something to that effect.

If it scares you to track your numbers for hobbying , be a man and calculate the future value of that money. Oh buddy.
