Grace, that's a great post. You have what I would consider to be a tremendous concept of the difference between a hooker and an escort. I'm sure you're aware there are many more differences than the one you mention, but there are many and they are huge differences.

A hooker fucks or sucks for money. An escort, IMO, is so much more and realizes that the reason many of us are happy to donate much more to an escort is because of the enhanced overall experience. The better the experience you provide, the more you can ask, and deserve, for your services.

There are Realtors, landscapers, lawyers, mechanics - practically any profession - that do the bare minimum to get by or that make the extra effort to excel. Those that go the extra mile, again, IMO, command and deserve higher compensation. Kind of like the difference between a minor league and major league baseball player.

If you were a man, would you feel safer picking up a streetwalker and taking her to an hourly no-tell in a bad neighborhood? Or would you feel safer calling up a $250-$400/hr escort and meeting her in a nice hotel or apartment?

This is why there are "levels" in the first place. It isn't to pit women against each other..although that happens entirely too often. It is to help the men select their own risk and service level. A man with common sense knows not to expect the same level of treatment and service from a $20 streetwalker as a $400 escort. That's just common sense.
