It's called presumption of innocence. It's the bedrock of our legal system and our ideas of fair play. If Trump has "already proven to be a POS" then why do you need to make up new offenses like rape or Epstein's (forbidden topic)? Just concentrate on what you already have and can prove. Like having consensual, extra-marital sex with a porn star and a Playmate. OMG, nobody on Eccie would ever approve of that!

Sexual assault can be very serious and traumatizing. It can also be stretched to mean a lot of things, including unwanted kisses, which is apparently what many of Trump's accusers have alleged. It's a legal concept that means a person is not guilty of a specific offense until proven so by a court of law. You said Trump would never have sex with an underage girl, but presumption of innocence has nothing to do with what someone would do or wouldn't do. Look at anyone who has been convicted of a crime for the first time as an example. Before they were convicted they were presumed innocent, but that didn't mean that they would never commit the crime in question.

If we strip away this presumption in our everyday dealings with each other, we lower the bar further in our broken political and civil life. As for what Trump said, lets just set the record straight. His praise of Epstein was effusive but left it unclear whether he meant just Epstein or both of them like young women.
