I think as a group of people, we're more alike than different. But as a "community" on this board? We're participants. I don't see too much community except here and there.

I'd break bread with either of you and even a few others in this topic. But there are plenty of people that I wouldn't wish to be in the same room with.

I don't think that continuing to have a debate, or discourse, on this particular word is really going to change anyone's mind about things.

Many people on this board, the more vocal ones, LIKE using such crude wording to either get their point across or they're just being base. And there is enough of that on this board, and I've read enough of it over the years, to last me a lifetime.

And so much of the time, words are used (and it happens on this board all of the time!) such as "whore" to be crude towards women. To suggest anything else is just being argumentative or clueless.

So for me, only, I've decided to share that I'm not fond of the word. But heck, for those who are? Go for it. You have my unneeded blessing.

This topic, while very interesting, has run it's course. I don't see anything else to frigging WRITE about the word.
