2012 Cowboys,,,, what will they be?

I agree rj, there have been a lot of bad calls, missed calls and they can't control a game. If you look at ticket prices, wages of coaches, players, and profit involved you would think that they would decide to get the real refs back, and make it a job that was lucrative.
It looks like the excuses are gone now. He team will have to own their performance and not blame the officiating.

The cowboys may make a 500 season out of it, but litle more. Even when they win they do it the ugly way.

Tonight should be interesting and could go along way to determining the outcome of my bet with Smitty.

I'm still in shock. Horrible performance by the Cowboys. It's gonna be another long year. At least we have the Texans.
How did they manage to win two games? Witten got his hands back, and suddenly Bryant can't catch the ball. Romo blew a couple long throws, aside from tossing out all the interceptions. You might be able to blame the receiver on two of them, but that just shows the poor coaching. Romo is in his 9th season. We all kept waiting for him to mature and grow into a winner, but at this point I can't see it ever happening. He is a guy with great stats, hell he passed Staubach on the touchdown list, but would anyone take him over Roger?
I'm beating a dead horse here, but it comes down to discipline and character. They don't have the coaching, the right mentality, or the right GM to be any more than they are, even with all of that talent..
Chicago has a good defense, but not that good. I imagine I'll be paying rj on our wager long before the end of the season. Hang on Cowboys fans,,, it's gonna be a bumpy ride.

I have a big TV now if it comes down to it again. And just how is that Black and Gold Super Bowl looking?

"Knock Knock"

"Hey Boudreaux sumbody be at de door."

"Who is it?"

"Owen.

"Owen who?"

"Owen Fo,"

"Hey Boudreaux who wuz dat at dey door."

"Nobody jus one Da Saints."
With the Cowboys not playing again until Oct. 14, there are still a few predictions floating on how they will fair this week:

Romo will throw at least 3 interceptions and Bryant will drop at least two balls.

The one bright spot of the week will be Murray not losing yardage, unfortunately he will not gain any either.

Rumor also has it that Jones, Garrett and Ryan will be hanging around the new Victoria's Secret shop at JerryWorld in search of the gloryhole.
Well, even though they played the Ravens closer than I thought they would, and it came down to a kick at the end,,,, my boys found a way to lose.
You can point at few things. The kickoff returned 108 yards, Romo's interception, but what got to me was the way they looked on the final drive with a chance to tie the game. It was total chaos. Penalties, barely getting plays off, they looked like a crappy high school team trying to go score. When they finally do score they blow the 2 point conversion. Then, in miracle fashion they get the onside kick back, get down close enough for a field goal and waste 25 seconds not getting to the line or calling a time out. They had time for at least 2 more plays if they manage the clock like a pro team should. Even with all that it came down to a kick, and the usually reliable kicker missed. 10 yards closer would have increased his odds drastically, but they can't do that.
This team is the most undisciplined team in the league, with some of the best talent.
8 & 8 is looking better all the time. rj,,,, I'm putting back the money to cover our wager. DAMN.
The problem is obvious. It is not the QB or the coach. It is the owner, who won't let people do their jobs. He may be good at making money, but he is a total bust as a leader. jmho
The Cowjokes (oops Cowboys) actually WON yesterday in a semi decent fashion and yet nobody has made a comment on it yet.

What's the matter, everybody in shock or something?

Admittedly, they did not look all that good, but still a win is a win, right?
I thought about commenting on my team today, but what can you say. They eaked out a narrow victory over a terrible team, and did look bad doing it. Ya,,, a win is a win, but I'm not looking for many more of them at this point. If they are even in the ballgame with the Giants this week it will be a miricle.
Smith youare starting to sound like me and the Cpt. That is not bad. They need at least one die hard fan.
