Is the bill going to split the same way it was last time? Covering for the ladies was a valiant idea. Seems like there will be a few more in the group than last time which means a bigger bill.

The men will always out number the ladies, and yes it's a nice gesture. If anyone has a problem ( not saying you do TG), I will happily pay the ladies' portion.

just a rough guesstimate...

currently 28 people scheduled to attend from the last count
at an average plate of $14 (give or take) thats still $392 not counting drinks and tip. I guess it kind of evens out with the more people that attend the more divided the bill.

I saw the bill last time and it wasn't anything to scoff at

Yes, it can be expensive, however it's not written in stone that the gents need to pay. How about the ladies cover their drinks and tip? I highly doubt that will be a problem...we are all adults and can handle our own tab. I certainly don't want to break anyone's bank nor do I wish to attract people who are there for a free dinner! I say we all split it even (boys and girls) and everyone is happy.

I just want everyone to show up and have a good time! I will make up for the difference if a gent chooses ( again not directed at TG) not to pay for the gals. My only concern is that we have fun!

The standard has been set. The guys are going to pick up the check for the ladies. If any of you want to do it different, go ahead and put your own dinner together. Nicole, you can leave your big fat wallet at home, this dinner's on us. This way it's real simple and the way it should be. I am trying to find a really bad joke to tell.
