"the fall of Iraq" did not take long relatively speaking and (although I regret the loss of one life) DID NOT COSTS the "4,000" lives touted as being the death toll for "the war"! I think the death count was in the 200-300 range, if I recall correctly. The "heavy costs" were the continued occupation and gradual withdrawal while trying to make them a model democracy next door to Israel.
It should be a concern to all, left .... center ... right, that this country is "timid," if not fearful, of taking on 30,000 to 50,000 hoodlums who hide their faces and rape and torture women and children. Or is it just our President who is afraid.
