This from the same guy that was predicting a Romney landslide win and quoting "unskewed" polls to back it up.

Forgive me if I don't find your predictions credible. Originally Posted by markroxny

The FR knows it. Why do you think they are taking the current monetary course.

What makes you think we won't deal with the debt and the spending? You are so confident that we will fail?

Again I say, Oh ye of little faith.

See you in 2 years buddy. Originally Posted by markroxny

Just exactly what do you have faith in....magic? Numbers don't lie. I'm sure the Greeks thought the party would never end. They were wrong and so are you.
No doubt OH, America is the 800 pound gorilla. But when we fail, there isn't anyone who can prop our economy up.... Originally Posted by Whirlaway

We will have to cut deals with our creditors. The terms they dictate to us will be a bitter pill. It will be very ugly for most Americans !

We will end up negotiating away our country, sovereignty, and likely most of our national wealth. Our creditors, many who despise us, will not be lenient. They will not treat us as we treated Argentina, Mexico, or Russia when we bailed them out. Originally Posted by Whirlaway

As a landlord I love inflation; especially in Texas.

But it is a killer to the middle and working class.

Why any economist (with a heart) would think hyper inflation is a good thing is beyond me.

That atmosphere no longer exists.

So what do you expect to happen, KarlMarxRoxny?

The only "good thing" about hyper inflation is that it essentially pays of the national debt. That's why we're going to hyperinflate, we have a debt we can't hope to pay without devaluing the dollar. At some point, we'll pay the Chinese back with a worthless dollar.
I would like to know as well....I am thinking AllMarxNoSmarts will tell us he thinks Obama will "bend he cost curve" of government !

You fools act like this country is broke. Do you not understand all the resources we have? Do you not read how much more oil has been found in the last few years?

Those that bet aganist this country , will lose. Periodbut go ahead, its your money.
At some point the Chinese will say NO to that......they will want hard assets.
