NHL 2022 Season

Well that game sucked!

On top of that my first place Rangers blew a 4-0 lead to the bottom dweller A’s in the MLB!

Now I’m totally depressed.
Rangers came back to win the series thankfully, including that 18-3 blowour

Stars looked better yesterday, but damn the Wild are getting some lucky puck bounces all series long. Otter again pulled some theatrical saves, including the one in the last couple of minutes to keep the 3-2 lead. Its now a best of 3 series. Hopefully we can win tomorrow to have 2 chances to eliminate the Mild.

They did.. but that was a BS tripping call that led to the 6 on 4 goal. Refs have been terrible all series long. They are missing calls or giving BS calls both ways.. but that last one last night .. I dont see how that was a penalty.

At the game tonight with an ATF. She looks mighty fine in those form-fitting yoga pants!
You need to share some pictures.. i love me a woman who looks fine in yoga pants.

Stars came out dominating today. I wont lie, that 5 minute major.. I think could have been a 2 minute tripping at best.. but ill take it. They did take 2 minutes away with a penalty.. but you know how it goes. It feels great going back to Minnesota up 3-2 with a chance to clinch the series. We play like we did today or game 2, we are waiting to see who we play next.

Stars dominated most of the game. Wild had a couple of moments.. and some unlucky puck bounces .. but that was a great showing from the Stars all night long. Now we wait to see if we play the Avs or the Kraken. A little more time for Pavs to get ready for the next round

It does not matter who they play either. And you know I am going to at least one of the games at home.

It was a terrific closeout game for the Stars on the road and it was back-to-back wins of great TEAM HOCKEY!! There was no one Star for the series, everyone contributed and played HUGE!! No penalties in the 3rd period made it nearly impossible for the Wild to make a comeback in the game, and the clock wound down quickly because there were no game stoppages period for the first half of the 3rd period. I have never seen anything like that!

The Avalanche staved off elimination on the road against the Kraken, so they are favored to close out that series on their home ice.

Go Stars.
I was worried the first 3 minutes. The Wild came out hot and swinging.. then we took control and never really let up. That first goal by Hintz was a thing of beauty.... broke that guys ankle and buried it. Dadonov puck handling before passing it to Johnston to bury it was great. Marchment should have had 2 goals.. and could have had the hat trick because Domi is a pass first guy even on an empty net... but glad to see Marchment gave it back to Domi since he made that happen.

If there may be one star for the series besides Oettinger it may be Roope Hintz, but seriously, it was great team hockey from everyone. The Marchment breakaway goal with .5 seconds left in the 2nd period to go up 3-0 was HUGE! I can imagine how demoralized Minnesota was going to the locker room after that goal.

I agree Ricky, it was great unselfishness to let Domi score that final empty netter, he earned it, not just that play, or that game, but his physical play the entire series. I don’t think anyone exhibited more willingness to defend the Pavelski injury than him.

Does any goalkeeper takeaway the bottom of the goal better or have the fast twitch reactions on his knees better than Oettinger?
Two pretty big upsets happened last night. Historic season Boston was having ended in a historic collapse.. was up 3-1 in the series and ended up dropping the last 3, 2 at home.

The defending champs lost to the 2nd year Seattle. If it wasnt for Boston's collapse, this would have been the story today

Both games were really good watching. Boston/Florida went into overtime... Stars fans know that feeling from last year.

Game 1 is tomorrow here against Seattle. Lets go Stars!

Boston sports failures are always welcome, in my opinion.
This was a weird game. We started off good.. then they scored 3 goals in under a minute. Pavelski had an amazing return with his 4 goals.. too bad we couldnt finish it off with a win. We gotta come out swinging next game.
