quite a few motorcycle riders show up on fri nites and classic car owners on sat nites.
havent bought there in a while, but a 12 pack of beer to go + tip for the carhop used to cost less than a trip to 7-11, Centennials, Red Colemans, or any place around there.

true story about Henderson's Fried Chicken.
one of their original locations was on Thomas St. just south of Hall St. in the Freedman's Town State/Thomas district, just across from an old theatre.
one nite several buds and i were on our way home from a harry hines strip club outing and went there for some of the best but greasiest friend chicken i've ever had [they put the chicken and greasy french fries on white bread to soak up the oil :^) the fries came out of a McDonalds French Fry box].

anyhow, we bought our two breast chicken dinners and went outside to eat [there were no tables inside]. as we're leaning up against the wall eating our breasts, two young african american women in short shorts, t-shirts, and cork platform shoes walked up to us. "say boys, whatcha all doing tonite? wanna have some fun with me and my cute friend??"
yep, ladies of the evening.
we thanked them but declined.
there is an AMAZING german reastruant called little germany in fort worth off henderson street.. its a hole in the wall but its great

but the Russian Banya in Carrollton is a legit little russian steam room, vodka guzzling, sweat house. I like to go here when its cold outside. I'd also like a secret handy if I could ever go in on a day it wasn't busy with one of you beauties...

There also a good Mexican place on Singleton, Carmen's. Open for breakfast and lunch. Kinda in a bad area so it ain't open for dinner. Food is good and fresh, and the waitresses were hot chicas, but it has been awhile since I ate there.
I still love the Mecca on Harry Hines for breakfast. Their migas are amazing.
Paisano's (spelling?) on Walnut Hill/Shady Grove area....best street tacos I've ever tasted hands down!
