If the US government actually gave a shit about saving lives cigarettes and HFCF would be illegal, but there’s far to much tax money involved. Cash > Lives when it comes to the US government.

Agreed, at this point cessation of smoking in the USA would save a lot more lives than universal COVID vaccination. Most people have gotten vaccinated or infected and have some immunity. That’s no reason not to get the vaccine and boosters though, for the sake of your own health and others’.
