Your honesty and integrity in all that you do have impacted my life and have kept me believing that brilliance and beauty in the hobby are often found in the same person, such as yourself, and the hobby light dims when you aren't around to share your mind and your heart with us.

So sorry to hear of your illness. I once suffered a similar illness, albeit in a different location, and know how long it takes to beat something like this.

I'll never forget how you took me under your wing at my first social. You introduced to me to a bunch of folks and just made me feel like part of a community.

While we only had one appointment, and I don't hobby as much these days, I look back on that occasion and can't help but break into a smile.

Hey my loves! I want y'all to know I've read everything y'all have said and it truly makes me happy. Thank you for such love and kindness. I miss y'all!

I'm doing ok. I have settled in at home. The kids surround me and give me energy. Who would've thought I can be Betty homemaker?! Turns out I was needed as my father works late hours. It's a great feeling and I'm blessed. All in all, things are exactly as they should be. . . For now.

I don't read here often. As some know, it makes me sad. I liken it to being sidelined at my favorite game. But I have read this thread and a couple others. I am addicted what can I say?! Ha! The more I settle the less I do but y'all are never far from my mind.

Went to beach with family last week for spring break. Couldn't get in water so wanted to take a pick of me in my lawn chair with my ice chest and a corona for y'all. (gotta have the corona pic right Rox?!) alas.... I drank it! Ha! I kid, I kid!

I love y'all and do intend to return. Unfortunately doc thinks a year. Me thinks I don't trust doc who told me infection was gone 2 months ago. But it won't be sooner than 6 months. The last of my procedures was handled Monday and tomorrow will be my first attempt back at the gym! Yay!

Maxeen, I just saw this thread. I was so sorry to hear about your illness but glad that you seem to be better. Maybe your recovery time will give you time to work on those TPS reports. I am going to be in Austin next week and was looking forward to seeing you but I think it is great you are getting some time to spend with your family and relax with a Corona.
