Yet over and over, he finds that "special" one and proceeds to follow her around the board, constantly promoting her, attacking anyone with a slightly different opinion of her, occasionally whining (why won't she DFK me? Like any other online forum or board, folks should come in knowing that they'll be open to criticism regardless of their opinions, etc.

On both sides it's "YMMV". The actual substance of a review (or recommendation) should be looked at and your decision made if there's a deal-breaker in there.

So many guys go down that road of thinking they are anything to a hooker other than a paycheck. Sad to see in someone around a long time. Especially if he's been told more than once that he is out of bounds.

When they start sleeping with you for free then it might be OK to think you've connected in some manner but everyone that spends consistent money gets texts, emails, phone time and extended sessions on occasion.

That's all just good business and recognition that you are a good customer. Nothing more.

When they ask you out for a drink or to see a movie or accept your invitation and you wake up next to them the next morning without cash involved maybe you matter more.
