Do you negotiate?

I have never negotiated, I mean the girls certainly work a lot harder than I do. I do find myself tipping a extra hundred quite often.
There are roughly 700+ providers on ECCIE alone. If you feel the need to haggle, barter, or negotiate rates, you're a tool.

Then again, when it's rent week and they don't run specials, the competition is fierce and who knows. Originally Posted by Von Spieler

OTOH, if a provider asks to see you and or advertises her rate is negotiable, then negotiate away.

Isn't this just a commercial transaction and nothing else? Goods and/or services provided in exchange for currency? Originally Posted by DarkeyKong

Being in this hobby for any other reason is just flat out unhealthy.

Where's my evidence to back my assertion? Take any one of those factors out of the equation (sex or money) this site will be rendered useless, or worse, match.com.

We are professionals but we are still women sharing the most intimate parts of ourselves with our clients.

That is why this can not be looked at as any other transaction
I agree Jules that it shouldn't be "looked" at as a transaction (where's the fun in that?) but my assertion is that both parties should always operate with the understanding that it is a business transaction. We can play "the game" with that understanding and have fun at the same time though.
Also, after how many sessions does it stop becoming intimate and more of a wash rinse repeat? Based on, what I've read or heard from some, providers are making a lot of money (I've heard attorney level or more thrown around a lot). Based on the cost of the sessions, I would assume that there are quite a few sessions taking place. It's damn near impossible to generate that level of income from a good/service you provide without finding a way to streamline the process. Hell, I have read some reviews on a provider by different hobbyists and started realizing they were having similar experiences.

I would assume there is a point when the law of diminishing marginal value kicks in. So, is it really fair to say you're sharing your most intimate part? Damn this sounds bad, but how can it be intimate when shared with by so many? My apologies if that sounds harsh, I'm at a disadvantage by having a public school/state college education which inhibits me from expressing my thoughts with the tact of a skilled wordsmith. Please keep in mind that I am not saying what you provide is not valuable or quality, I just have my reservations about referring to it as intimate. However, I do understand you ladies are wired differently than us gents so it may be absolutely an intimate experience every time you partake in a session. I just may not be able to comprehend.

I call it what it is, a business transaction, oh yeah and I always negotiate unless I'm getting a flawless exchange meaning a 9-10 in the looks and performance department.

@ doc, The managers appreciated all of your tips, I'm sure you visit the elite ladies that you won't find in coed with your big hobby budget.

I met my regular provider over 2 years ago. I contacted her thru p411 and inquired about her services and rates. She gave me the standard published rate and I told that her add on ECCIE said to ask her about her specials that week so I was asking! She then told me a rate that was even lower than I was expecting. I split the difference and I've been seeing her about every two weeks now for over 2 years.

I don't know if that was negotiating or not. Her add did say to ask about her specials and I think that's an invitation to at least ask what that means. In my situation it was definitely a win-win. I get to see a provider I really like at a rate I'm comfortable with and she got a regular client that she can count on.

Negotiations is like masturbation. Sometimes it is mutual.
